| Hi, My youngest (four) is sick with the flu, so I'm sitting here on the couch next to him with nothing to do while he naps. But if I move he'll wake up. So, I figured I would lay out the playoff spots. Of course my early disclaimer that this has to be approved by the Commish, but I think I can figure this out easily enough.  First, how you get into the playoffs, straight from the rules. 1. In order to determine division championships and playoff seedings, the following tiebreaker system will be used: 1.) Best W/L Record, 2.) Head to Head Competition, 2a.) Best Division Record, 3.) Most Points Scored All Games, 4.) Best Net Points Head to Head, 4a.) Best Net Points Division Games, 5.) Least Points Allowed All Games, 6.) Coin Flip. 2. Division statistics (2a,4a) are used to resolve division ties only. Playoff seedings WILL NOT consider these values. Division leaders get first round byes. They are, 1. Lone Gunmen (9-3) - AFC East/West Divison Champ 2. Mentor Manglers (8-4 / No H2H vs WSWs / PF 1148.95) - NFC North/South Divison Champ 3. Warp Speed Warriors (8-4 / No H2H vs MM / PF 1110.70) - AFC North/South Division Champ 4. Blaz'n (7-5 / Won division with 4-2 Division record tie-breaker over Big Dog Daddy & Mutt Cutts) - NFC East/West Division Champ. Now, on the the rest of the playoff field with seeds 5-12. (won)5. Italian Ice (7-5) - Won H2H vs Mutt Cutts in Week 3 & Won H2H vs Big Dog Daddy in Week 5. (won)6. Big Dog Daddy (7-5) - Split series with Mutt Cutts / PF 1273.05. 7. Mutt Cutts (7-5) - Split series with Big Dog Daddy / PF 1181.70. (won)8. Cornered Cats (6-6) - Won H2H vs Vincero in Week 7 & 8 and Won H2H vs Weasels OG in week 5. 9. Vincero (6-6) - Lost H2H vs Cornered Cats in Week 7 & 8 but Won H2H vs Weasels OG in Week 4. (won)10. Weasels OG (6-6) - Lost H2H vs Cornered Cats in Week 5 & Lost H2H vs Vincero in Week 4. 11. Graham DoCoMo (5-7) - No clear H2H winner, next tie breaker is PF with 1167.45. 12. Kihei Heat (5-7) - No clear H2H winner, next tie breaker is PF with 1034.05 There were four teams with 5-7 records vying for the last two wild card playoff spots. I listed their H2H specifics after each team following their PF totals. The Patriot II 5-7 / 1022.75 (W over Kihei Heat in Wk 5 / DNP Browns Rock Otto or Graham DoCoMo) Kihei Heat 5-7 / 1034.05 (L to Pat II Wk 5 / L to Browns Rock wk 10 / DNP Graham DoCoMo) Browns Rock Otto 5-7 / 997.30 (W over Kihei Heat Wk 10 / L to Graham DoCoMo Wk 4 / DNP The Patriot II) Graham DoCoMo 5-7 / 1167.45 (W over Browns Rock Otto / DNP Kihei Heat or The Patriot II) There was no clear H2H winner as there was always a team that did not play another team amongst this group of four. So H2H does not work and we had to go to the PF tie-breaker. Kihei Heat just barely edged out a playoff spot with a slim 11.3 PF margin. Again, the Commish has yet to post the definitive playoff list, but I'm 99.9% positive this is correct. Playoff games for Week 13 are as follows. Italian Ice (#5) vs Kihei Heat (#12) Big Dog Daddy (#6) vs Graham DoCoMo (#11) Mutt Cutts (#7) vs Weasels OG (#10) Cornered Cats (#8) vs Vincero (#9) Good Luck! WSWs |

| Wow Jason! That is one of the most comprehensive lists I've seen anyone do for any league we have. Nice work. I need to hire you to help with the 90+ other leagues we'll have to do this for next week. I checked over everything you have and you are 100% right on the money. | great job Jason, both here and in Paul Brown too... congrats BLAZ'N on winning division and getting bye by 1.40 pts  which means i have to face Docomo AGAIN...back to back weeks, got extremly lucky beating Studly-Stacked Power Docomo Franchises, Inc. this past week in Otto... can we do it again ? well considering BigDogDaddy teams are now 2-11 vs. DOCOMO on season in various leagues... doesn't bode well for us... at least we have TENN DT against the hapless lioncubs here in Otto and also in PB both vs. DCM this week !!! one DT TD for Tenn DT...c'mon Titans...may we have another ? ... i need all the help i can get LOL LT |
